Born in 1970 in San José, Costa Rica. 1986-90 Studies graphic design at UCR (Universidad de Costa Rica), San José. 1993 Founding member of Animastudio. 1998 Founding member of Martestudio, animation studio. Since 2002 Lecturer for visual communication at the UCR, San José.

 

The animator and cartoonist Costa seduced his pen to two of the most important companies in the world comics: Marvel and DC Comics, who did not hesitate to hunt talent.  Timms work on series-the mercenary Deadpool Marvel antihero.

 

Also, right now, Timms working on what will be an annual summary of the number of Harley Quinn and the 15th edition of the same magazine.

 

He has had the opportunity of working for commercial brands such as Coca Cola, Pizza Hut, Fraft Foods, Mattel, Kellog’s, Ford, Nissa, Bimbo, History Channle, Panasonic, Dos Pinos, Demasa, Optix, Nickelodeon and many more; and the great experience of directing a short animated film for Switz TV called “Giraffes don’t go to Heaven”. He has also won several national and international recognitions.
In his free time he enjoys to draw, and that is: anywhere and anything.
